Ancient Maya Mysteries
When talking about ancient mysteries often the thought comes about pyramids and temples like those in Guatemala or Egypt, Tiawanaku, Machupichu, Stone Henge and many others; we also think of ancient cultures like the Maya, the Egyptian, the Hindu to say a few.
In this talk, coming from an oral tradition, we will disclose the belief of the origin of ancient Cultures like the Maya, Egyptian, Hindu and other Asian Cultures and discuss the similarities between each other. We will discuss the belief the Mayan elders have as to how those temples and pyramids were built and their relationship with the Mayan calendar. We will look at the Mayan Calendar beyond the significance of your personal birth sign; rather we will look at the mystery that lies within the calendar day signs. We will explore the relationship of the Mayas with Atlantis and other cultures of South America.
We will display some of the most popular Mayan glyphs explaining beyond what your eyes can see. We will talk about the mystery of the Sacred Skulls and give an example of how tapping into the Cosmos the unknown can be revealed. I will give examples of situations that I have witnessed of how those elders of wisdom can connect with the cosmos to have information revealed.
From an indigenous point of view and following an oral tradition, we will explore some of those issues, many with answers contrary to what anthropologists or arqueologists may have written about before. We will include other issues such as the mystery within the Zero Skulls.

Ecstasy of Zhikr: Open Doorway to the Divine
Zhikr is an ecstatic practice of the Sufi tradition. The name means recollection, or remembrance of the Divine. There are as many forms of Zhikr as there are Sufi schools. In the Arica Zhikr, we use polyrhythmic drumming and undulating rhythms to anchor the energetic breathing, singing, and dancing we do together in a circle.
