TOUR
DESCRIPTION:
Escape the cattle
boat crowds, board a spacious 40-foot catamaran (two hulls) with no
more than 40 guests, and set sail for the barrier reefs of
Cozumel.
Unlike the big
group tours with one set itinerary, this Cozumel Sail and Snorkel
Tour takes its direction from the weather that day. Based on sea
and water conditions, your captain will head for the location that
will give you the best experience. You will have up to three hours
of navigating, with two stops for snorkeling with your guide along
the way. Snorkel gear is included. Flotation vests are available;
just ask one of the crew members onboard, if
needed.
The bar is open
with complimentary beverages such as bottled water and soft drinks
before snorkeling. After snorkeling, enjoy the music onboard, along
with ice cold draft beer, refreshing rum punch and house-made
margaritas. The crew will also have some light snacks available for
you.
In addition, the
boat has shaded and open-deck areas to spread a towel out or just
sit back and enjoy the views. There is a restroom on the vessel.
Taxi fare from the Punta Langosta cruise pier is approximately $8
each way (not included in the tour price).

TOUR
DESCRIPTION:
As you
drive 45 minutes through the countryside to reach the site, your
guide will tell you of the mysterious and mystical
Mayans.
The Altun-Ha (Mayan
for stone water) area was first populated in 1000 B.C. and the city
was expanded in A.D. 700. It is believed to have had a population
of 3,000. Many high-status items, including jade recovered at the
site, indicate the city was home to many wealthy citizens.
Structure B4 revealed a richly furnished tomb of one of Altun-Ha's
rulers, and among its contents is the largest jadeite sculpture yet
found. It represents Kinich Ahau, the Mayan sun god. Weighing in at
almost nine pounds, this has been Belize's most valuable find to
date. Other tombs contained jadeite objects as
well.
Excavations
indicate that this center was part of a trade network that reached
from the Caribbean coast to the central lowlands of Guatemala. The
site covers an area of about five square miles. The central square
mile of the site has remains of around 500 structures, the largest
of which, the Temple of the Masonry Altars, is 54 feet
high.
After your tour of
Altun-Ha, you will travel back to Belize City and to the
ship.

TOUR
DESCRIPTION:
The Chacchoben
Extreme Tour will take you from the green of the jungle to an
exciting adventure in the crystal-clear waters of the Seven Color
Lagoon.
Departing Costa
Maya, you will drive approximately 50 minutes to reach your first
stop, the ruins of Chacchoben. The first human settlements in the
area of Chacchoben have been dated as early as 1000 B.C. Evidence
collected during excavations shows that most of the structures
restored were built around the years 300-360 A.D. and were modified
up to five times during their
history.
Today, Chacchoben
still keeps most of its secrets covered with vegetation, offering
visitors a unique opportunity to experience its magic and feel the
energy of an ancient city. The ceremonial center of the site covers
an area of nearly six square kilometers in an area known as the
"Region of the Lakes," due to the number of
lagoons.
Your expert guide
will bring Chacchoben to life as he recants the history of the city
and shares insights on its past and
present.
The Place
of Red Corn
The seldom seen
Mayan ruins of Chacchoben are a high, broad-leaf jungle ruin site.
These majestic, mostly restored temple pyramids take on a mystical
quality surrounded by towering mahogany trees, enormous cohune
palms, strangler figs and the hanging tentacles of banyan trees.
Chacchoben means "the Place of Red Corn," in Spanish "Lugar de Maiz
Colorado."
Edificio 24 in
Plaza B is the first structure that you see but even more
impressive temples lay behind in the Gran Basamento; the tallest
one being Temple 1. Some low structures are in Plaza Las Vias
canopied by a forest of Cohune palms and mahogany trees. The
archaeologists think Chacchoben was settled about 200 BC but the
buildings excavated thus far date from around 700 AD. Chacchoben
has a wonderful primal feel surrounded by tall palms and trees,
many with long beards of Spanish moss waving in the gentle breeze.
Climbing on the ruins is prohibited but just walking around this
site is well worth the trip. If you're into remote ruins this is a
nice one.

Bacalar:
The Seven Color
Lagoon
After your trip to
Chacchoben, travel to spectacular Seven Color Lagoon (Lake
Bacalar). The lake is approximately 50 miles long and is ideal for
kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing, sailing and swimming! A variety of
birds can be seen at Laguna Azul, including toucans. During your
stop, a short jungle walk through the trails near Laguna Azul will
also be offered. Guests can choose to do all activities or just
relax and enjoy the view from under the shade of a cabana. A light
lunch is served.
Bacalar Lagoon is a
hidden jewel that is still not well-known by international tourism.
Its breathtaking scenery makes it a world class freshwater lake
with a colorful Mexican community for those who love Mayan history
and cultural heritage. This area is becoming one of the most
important destinations for the tourism of adventure in a historical
and cultural scenario along Costa
Maya.
Visit the lagoon of
the Seven Colors/Lagoon of Bacalar. This is the second largest
Mexican natural freshwater lake. Its pristine crystal clear
tropical fresh water ranges in colors from various shades of green,
to intense turquoise, and various hues of blue. From the air,
Balacar Lagoon looks like a beautiful turquoise ribbon in the
middle of the jungle.

For?
Total Transformation® represents James' personally and scientifically-informed journey—for men and women— through a biochemical "flip," shown to usher in not only a profound drop in appetite and transformed relationship with food (typically in a matter of days) even to those who've never had "issues", but body-wide symptoms of recovered leptin function, including metabolic, digestive/eliminatory, mood/cognitive, immune modulating (including allergy and food sensitivities), skin, pain, inflammatory, energy/adrenal/thyroid, and sleep/apnea transformations**. The more severe the issues, the more dramatic the transformation tends to be. Read more history and endorsements of Total Transformation®, in Kat James' biography. Lacto-ovo vegetarians, omnivores, and gluten-free eaters encouraged. Not recommended for vegans. Food sensitivities generally diminish or disappear during the Program. Not intended to prevent, treat, or cure disease.
